The band’s frontman, Dave Grohl, invited Collier Cash Rule to join him onstage at the Sprint Center in Kansas City on Friday night, Rolling Stone reports.
The Twitter account for the rock group tweeted a video link showing the star and the fan together.

Standing next to Collier at the mic, Grohl asked if the youngster could play guitar. Collier said he did, later telling Grohl during their exchange that he knows Metallica tunes.
“Do you want to do a Metallica song?” Grohl said.
The boy’s reply: “Sure.”
It wasn’t long before Collier was outfitted with a guitar and pick, and strummed “Enter Sandman.”
He wasn’t alone in his performance, either: Grohl sang the song’s lyrics while his bandmate, Taylor Hawkins, was on drums.
At one point, Grohl asked the boy if he wanted the guitar.
“The tour’s almost over, I might as well give him the f---ing guitar,” Grohl said before the two hugged.
He then asked Collier if the boy came to the show with a parent or guardian, and Collier directed him to his mom in the crowd.
“Take that guitar over to your mom right now,” he instructed Collier.
The rocker, however, did take time to deliver a message.
“If I see that s---t on eBay, I’m gonna find you,” he joked. “I will find you, Collier.”
Grohl tweeted about the performance, too.
“Lookout world...Next generation of rockers coming soon to an arena near you! Thanks Collier! - Dave”
Metallica also weighed in, praising the young musician.
“How cool is this??? Show ‘em how it’s done, Collier! #nextgeneration,” the band said in an Instagram post.
Collier also has reflected on his recent 15 minutes of fame.
“Metallica knows who I am, the Foo Fighters know who I am,” the fifth-grader told Fox 4 KC. “Dave Grohl gave me a guitar, I’ve played at the Sprint Center, I think my bucket list is done.”

No one likes a bully – that’s an irrefutable fact. So, for many, there’s nothing better than seeing a bully finally getting put in their place. Lucky for us, that’s exactly what took place at a high school in California’s Sonoma Valley after a boy decided to abuse a girl online.
Unwilling to put up with his crap, the girl – who attended a neighboring school – decided to track the keyboard warrior down and teach him some manners. Come to find out, IJ Review reports that she had a hidden talent that would be revealed while cameras were rolling.
As it turns out, the girl was actually training as an MMA fighter and was ready to stand up for herself in whatever way was necessary. Just as can be seen in the clip, things rose to a physical level, resulting in the girl both kneeing and body slamming her bully, proving there was quite the warrior hiding under that dress.

Making matters even better, the bully was reportedly sporting a black eye as a constant reminder of his poor decision until it healed. Although the video has gone viral online – with over 14 million views in just 4 days – the school is speaking out against the incident.
In a statement, the district described the events as “unacceptable” and states that they even tried to have Facebook remove the video on the grounds of “violent content and because minors are recognizable,” but they were unable to do achieve their goal since it doesn’t violate Facebook’s “community standards.”
Of course, some viewers complained about a “dangerous” double standard as people would see the series of events in a different light had it been a boy beating a girl that way. However, the biggest reason that the public seems to like this clip so much is that it centers around a bully getting deserved justice, dished out by a person he assumed was at a disadvantage.
In the end, this guy picked on the wrong girl and got exactly what he deserved. With that being said, you won’t find even too many people who don’t like rooting for the little guy, and that’s precisely what is needed in cases like these. Even better yet, I’m guessing this punk thinks twice about picking on someone the next time, seeing how he’s the laughing stock of social media now.
Schools do very little to stop bullies, so I can understand the school’s embarrassment when a girl shows them how it’s done. If I was them, I wouldn’t want that video on the Internet either, but it has nothing to do with protecting minors — they’re protecting themselves from the backlash. If they were really protecting our kids from bullies, the victims wouldn’t have to take matters into their own hands.
I do love a story with a happy ending, and I’d say a keyboard warrior, who attacks girls online and gets his butt kicked by a girl, is a very happy ending.
